I have attempted to bridge two communities that infrequently interact, art and athletics. I have made short-term progress, though any substantial amount of long-term progress will take years, if not decades. The relationship between dynamic and static is often depicted in this body of work.
While my interest in most dominant athletics in America has waned drastically over the years, my interest in world football, specifically women's football, has ascended. I am engaged with women's football locally, domestically, and internationally. The 1999 Women's World Cup was the foundation for my love and support of women's football.
